Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognized board with passing marks in Mathematics and English.
- Knowledge of the local language (Assamese) is mandatory.
Age Limit (as per India Post rules):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD and EWS candidates as per Government of India norms.

- Selection will be done purely on merit, based on Class 10 marks.
