Central Silk Board Recruitment 2026:
Central Silk Board (CSB) is a statutory body established in 1940 by an Act of Parliament, working under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It is the apex national organization responsible for the overall development of the silk sector in India — covering research, seed production, extension, quality certification, training, and technology transfer across pre-cocoon and post-cocoon sectors.
CSB operates through Research Institutes, Regional Offices, Seed Organizations, Training Centres, and Field Units across silk-producing states. This recruitment is for its Muga Eri Silkworm Seed Organization (MESSO) units.

Educational Qualification:
- 3-year full-time Degree in Sericulture OR
- 4-year full-time Degree in Sericulture OR
- 3-year full-time Degree + PG Diploma in Sericulture OR
- 4-year full-time Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture Sciences / Forestry OR
- 3-year full-time Degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology/Botany/Biology) / Biotechnology + PG Diploma in Sericulture OR
- 3-year full-time Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology/Botany/Biology) / Biotechnology + 1 year experience in Sericultural project work
Desirable: Work experience in silkworm rearing & grainage / Sericulture (Pre-Cocoon Sector).
