Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 02 Librarian, Controller of Examinations, and Superintendent EngineerLibrarian, Controller of Examinations, and Superintendent Engineer posts.
JNU Vacancy Details:
1. Librarian
No of Posts: 01
Scale of Pay: Academic Pay Level-14 (Rs. 1,44,200 - 2,18,200).
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science with at least 55% marks
- At least 10 years as a Librarian at any level in University Library OR ten years of teaching as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science OR ten years experience as a College Librarian
- Evidence of innovative Library services, including integration of ICT in a library
- Ph.D. Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation/Archives and Manuscript keeping
Age Limit: Up to 57 years.
2. Controller of Examinations
No of Posts: 01
Scale of Pay: Level-14 (Rs. 1,44,200 - 2,18,200)
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Master's degree with at least 55% marks
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in Academic Level-11 and above OR 8 years of service in Academic Level-12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration
- OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institutions of higher education
- OR 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post
Age Limit: Up to 57 years.
3. Superintendent Engineer
No of Posts: 01
Scale of Pay: Rs. 1,23,100 - 2,15,900
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- B.E./B.Tech. in Civil or Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution with 55% marks
- At least 10 years of regular service as Executive Engineer or equivalent in Pay Level-11 or above in Central/State Governments/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations/PSUs/Universities or recognized Research/Higher Educational Institutions
Age Limit: Up to 56 years.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/PwD: 5% relaxation in percentage of marks (from 55% to 50%)
- No Upper Age Limit: For regular employees of JNU with at least 3 years of regular service
- As per Government of India rules for reserved categories
Application Fee:
- General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 1,000/- (payable online)
- SC/ST/PwD/Women Candidates: Exempted
