Name of Post: Gaon Pradhan

Age Limit: Candidate must not be less than 25 years as on 1st January, 2026.
Salary: Rs 14,000 (Rupees Fourteen thousand) only per month.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have a minimum of 10th pass from a Board/Institution recognised by the State/Central Government.
Other Essential Criteria:
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must be a permanent resident of the area (village/revenue circle) for which applying.
- Must be physically fit and of sound mind.
- Must not be a government employee.
- Must not be a member of any political party.
- Must own land or immovable property in his/her name in the concerned area.
- Must not have more than 2 living children (as per Assam Govt. notification dated 19 July 2019).
- Must not be declared insolvent or defaulter in government dues (need Bakijai Clearance Certificate).
How to Apply:
1. Obtain the prescribed application form – "Part IX of the Assam Gazette" (available with the advertisement).
2. Fill the form completely and mention the name(s) of the village(s) you are applying for.
3. Attach self-attested copies of the following documents:-
- Educational qualification certificate & mark sheet
- HSLC Admit Card (for age proof)
- 3 recent passport-size colour photographs (3.5cm x 4.5cm, white background)
- PAN Card
- Voter ID Card
- Small Family Norms affidavit (not more than 2 children)
- Jamabandi (land record) in applicant’s name/family member’s name of the concerned village
- Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC)
- Self-declaration (not a government employee & not a political party member)
- Govt. dues clearance certificate (Bakijai Certificate)
4. Submit the duly filled application along with all documents to:-
