The Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council (KAAC), Diphu, has announced a recruitment notification for the engagement of Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA) in the Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department. This is a special recruitment drive for candidates who were selected for training through the Central Selection Board and have successfully completed the prescribed one-year training course.

Name of Post: Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA)

Name of Organisation: Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department, KAAC
Age Limit: The age of the candidates shall be governed by the applicable provisions of the Assam Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Subordinate Rules, 2002 and Government orders from time to time. The age of the candidate shall be determined on the basis of the HSLC Certificate/ HSLC Admit Card or certificate issued by a recognised board/ council.
Salary: Pay Band of Rs. 14,000/- 70,000/ + Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time.
Educational Qualification:
- HSSLC (Science) with Biology as a subject from a recognised Board/Council.
- Successful completion of the one-year VFA Training Course from the recognised School of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Ghungoor, Silchar.
Application Fee:
The applicant shall enclose a KAAC Money Receipt of Rs.10/- (Rupees Ten) only for ST/SC candidates and Rs.20/- (Rupees Twenty) only for candidates belonging to other categories, towards application fee. Pl note that no Bank Draft/Money Order/Cash/Cheque shall be accepted towards payment of the application fee.
How to Apply:
Eligible candidates should submit the Standard Form (Assam Gazette Part-IX) with required testimonials to the Member Secretary, Central Selection Board, Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council, Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam–782460.
The envelope should mention “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF VETERINARY FIELD ASSISTANT (VFA)”. Candidates must affix one recent passport-size photograph, enclose another, and submit self-attested copies of all certificates/marksheets along with a self-addressed stamped envelope (23 × 11 cm) with ₹5 postal stamp.
