Dima Hasao Irrigation Department Recruitment 2026:
The Office of the Additional Chief Engineer-cum-Council HOD, Irrigation, DHAC, Haflong has invited applications for 23 Grade III and Grade IV vacancies in the Irrigation Department, Dima Hasao. Eligible candidates can apply using the prescribed Standard Form of Application.

Dima Hasao Irrigation Department Grade III & IV Vacancy Details
1. Sub-Engineer Gr-I
Vacancy: 1 post
Grade: Grade III
Qualification: ITI in Draftsmanship trade or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution/university or equivalent
Pay Scale: ₹14,000–₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,800
2. Junior Assistant
Vacancy: 2 posts
Grade: Grade III
Qualification: Graduate from a UGC-recognized university + at least 6 months Computer Diploma from a recognized institute
Pay Scale: ₹14,000–₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹6,200
3. Section Assistant
Vacancy: 16 posts
Grade: Grade III
Qualification: Class 12th/HSSLC passed from a recognized institution
Pay Scale: ₹14,000–₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹5,600
4. Khalasi

Age Limit:
The minimum age of candidates should be 18 years and the maximum age should be 40 years as on 1 January 2026.
The upper age limit is relaxable by:
- 5 years for SC/ST (P)/ST (H) candidates.
- Other age relaxation will be applicable as per the relevant Government of Assam rules and the Government of Assam notification mentioned in the advertisement.
