Indian Museum Recruitment 2026:
The Indian Museum has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 05 Library Officer, Modeller, Hindi Translator & Driver posts.
Indian Museum Vacancy Details:
1. Library and Information Officer
Number of Posts: 1
Pay Level: Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 - 1,12,400)
Maximum Age: 30 years
Educational Qualifications:
- Master's or equivalent Hon's Degree in Indian History/Anthropology/Arts
- Diploma in Library Science
- 7 years' experience in a Library of standing in India (preferably Museum Library
- Research experience with published research work in Archaeology/Art/Anthropology
2. Head Modeller
Number of Posts: 1
Pay Level: Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 - 1,12,400)
Maximum Age: 30 years
Educational Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Modelling Sculpture from a recognized University/Institute
- About 5 years' experience in a responsible position of working on sculpture models and allied works
3. Hindi Translator
Number of Posts: 1
Pay Level: Level-5 (Rs. 29,200 - 92,300)
Maximum Age: 28 years
Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate or equivalent degree in Hindi in addition to English
- At least 5 years' experience in Translation work in any big establishment
4. Modeller
Number of Posts: 1
Pay Level: Level-5 (Rs. 29,200 - 92,300)
Maximum Age: 28 years
Educational Qualifications:
- School Final or equivalent examination passed
- Degree or Diploma from a recognized Art College or comparable institution in Arts with specialization in modelling
- At least 3 years' practical experience in modelling
5. Driver-cum-Mechanic
Number of Posts: 1
Pay Level: Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 - 81,100)
Maximum Age: 28 years
Educational Qualifications:
- Class 10th pass from a recognized Board
- Professional skill in driving with thorough knowledge of car mechanism
- Possession of permanent license of Motor driving
- 5 years practical experience in driving, and ability to carry out minor repairs
Age Relaxation:
- Upper age limit relaxable by the Board on the recommendations of the Selection Committee for candidates already in employment
- Relaxable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules
