Scale of Pay: The scale of pay offered is equivalent to that of a Professor (UGC Seventh Central Pay Commission) plus a special allowance.
Educational Qualification:
- The applicant should have considerable Research and Administrative experience as an eminent Social Scientist and should be in a position to provide necessary leadership and attract competent faculty.
- Commendable publication record based on independent research work.
Desirable:
- Proven ability to coordinate and lead team work in research projects.
- Experience in mobilizing resources for research from funding agencies as well as external agencies.
- Experience of organizing research training, workshops, seminars, etc.
- Experience of collaborating research work with other research organizations.
Age Limit: Below 60 years.
