SLRC Recruitment 2026:
The State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC), Assam has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 72 Field Assistant (Statistics)/Enumerator posts under the centrally sponsored scheme “Integrated Sample Survey (ISS)” of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Assam.

Scale of Pay: ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 + Grade Pay ₹5,600
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university in any subject with at least one paper of Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science, Sociology or Psychology at the graduation level.
OR
Candidates having a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with 50% marks in Mathematics at 12th standard are also eligible.
Age Limit:
The candidate should be:
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
The age will be calculated as on 1 January 2026.
Upper-age relaxation is available as follows:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
The age will be verified using the HSLC/Class X pass certificate or admit card.
