The Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board (GMDWSB) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 04 Chief Technical Officer and Web/Mobile Developer posts.
GMDWSB Vacancy Details:
1. Chief Technical Officer (CTO – Sewerage)
Number of Posts: 1
Place of Posting: Office of the Managing Director, GMDW&SB, Kharghuli, Guwahati, Assam
Remuneration: ₹1.50 lakh to ₹2.00 lakh per month (consolidated, negotiable)
Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant engineering discipline. Master's Degree in Civil/Public Health/Environmental/Water Resources/Water Supply & Sewerage Engineering preferred.
Experience: Minimum 15 years of professional experience in sewerage, wastewater management, urban infrastructure, water supply, or relevant infrastructure projects.
Skills: Strong technical leadership, project management, decision-making skills, knowledge of water supply and sewerage systems, engineering standards, and quality control practices.
Age Limit: Not more than 62 years as on 1 January 2026
2. Senior Web Developer
Number of Posts: 1
Place of Posting: Office of the Managing Director, GMDW&SB, Kharghuli, Guwahati
Remuneration: ₹50,000 per month (consolidated)
Educational Qualification: Graduation with 1-year Diploma in Computer Application/IT from a recognized University or AICTE-affiliated Institution.
Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in PHP/Laravel, Node.js, React, MySQL/PostgreSQL, APIs, AWS/Linux, and e-Governance/utility applications.
Age Limit: No upper age limit
3. Junior Web Developer

Remuneration: ₹40,000 per month (consolidated)

4. Senior Mobile Developer
