Tezpur University has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 06 Junior Research Fellow and Intern posts.

Tezpur University Vacancy Details:
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No of Posts: 01
Project: MoES-sponsored project on seismic deformation in Northeast India.
Remuneration: ₹37,000 per month + HRA.
Educational Qualification: First-class PG degree (Physics/Applied Physics/Remote Sensing/Geophysics) with NET/GATE, OR B.Tech (Engineering Physics/Mechanical) with NET/GATE.
Desirable: Research experience in coding and data analysis.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
2. Interns (On-Campus)
No of Posts: 05
Project: MeitY-ISEA sponsored project on Information Security Education & Awareness.
Stipend: ₹10,000 per month (consolidated).
Educational Qualification: Final year B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Tech in CSE/IT/ECE/EE/Information Security. (Applicants must not belong to Tezpur University).
Desirable: Knowledge of Cyber/Network Security, IoT, SDN/NFV, and programming skills in C, Python, or web/mobile development.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.

How to Apply:
For the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) post, candidates must attend the walk-in interview on 12th November 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Department of Physics, Tezpur University. Candidates must bring the prescribed application form (Annexure-I), updated signed CV, original documents and self-attested photocopies of all certificates and marksheets from Class 10 onwards, caste certificate (if applicable), experience certificate, NET/GATE or equivalent qualification certificates and other relevant testimonials. Original documents will be verified by the Selection Committee.
For the Intern post, candidates must submit the prescribed application form (Annexure-I), detailed CV with photograph and scanned copies of all relevant certificates, marksheets, caste/experience certificates (if applicable), publications, awards, recommendation letter and other supporting documents via email to nmedhi@tezu.ac.in by 12th November 2026. Applications should be addressed to Dr. Nabajyoti Medhi, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Tezpur University, Principal Investigator.
