The Lokopriya Gopinath Bordoloi Regional Institute of Mental Health (LGBRIMH), Tezpur, Assam, has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 04 Senior Resident (Psychiatry) posts.
LGBRIMH Tezpur Vacancy Details:
Name of Post: Senior Resident (Psychiatry)
No of Posts: 04
Emoluments: Rs. 1,38,659 per month (consolidated).
Educational Qualification:
- Academic: MBBS degree and a Postgraduate Degree/Diploma in Psychiatry (MD / DNB / Diploma in Psychological Medicine or equivalent Diploma in Psychiatry) from a University/ Institution recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) / National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS).
- Registration: Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or a State Medical Council. The registration must be valid on the last date of receipt of applications and at the time of joining
- DNB candidates: Verification/equivalence of the DNB qualification by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences shall be as per the prevailing rules and notificationsin force.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Assamese and/or Bengali – this is considered crucial for local patient recruitment, clinical interviewing and data collection at the Tezpur site.
- Experience in psychiatric interviewing and clinical research.
- Experience in the administration of structured and semi-structured instruments such as QuickSCID-5 and PHQ-9.
- Experience in digital data collection, handling of audio recordings, and redaction/ deidentification of recorded data.
- Experience in clinical reasoning annotation and quality control of transcripts and translations.
Age Limit: Up to 45 years.
