Discipline-wise vacancies:
- Graduate Engineers: 32
- Diploma Engineers: 8
Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per Presidential/Governmental Directives)
Monthly Stipend:
- Graduate Engineers: ₹14,000/- (RCIL share - ₹9,500/- & Govt. DBT share - ₹4,500/-)
- Diploma Engineers: ₹12,000/- (RCIL share - ₹8,000/- & Govt. DBT share - ₹4,000/-)
Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Full time Regular Four Years Graduation in Engineering / Technology / Full Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Engineering / Technology (from Colleges approved by AICTE) with aggregate 60 % marks instream/branch of Electronics & Telecommunication; or Telecommunication; or Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology or Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or any other combination of Engineering branches where Electronics is one of the main branches, like Electronics & Instrumentation OR Passed Sections A and B of Institution Examinations of the Institute of Engineering (India) in above – mentioned relevant branches of engineering OR Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) in above mentioned relevant branches of engineering.
- No Engineering Graduate or Diploma Holder who has undergone / possessing training or job / Work experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of any of these qualifications mentioned at Para No.1 shall be eligible for engagement as an apprentice under the Act.
- Candidates who have completed three years post their Graduation/diploma are not considered for Apprenticeship.
How to Apply Online for Railtel Recruitment 2026:
1. Register on the NATS 2.0 Portal: https://nats.education.gov.in (if not already registered).
2. Apply online through the portal. No other mode of application will be entertained.
3. While filling the application, upload the certificate showing your CGPA or percentage in the "Upload Certificate" column. If only the CGPA is mentioned, kindly also upload the conversion formula.
4. Submit the application on or before 27th August 2026.
