1. Project Assistant

Name of Project: Assessment of the Demand and Supply of Medicinal Plants and their Raw Material at the National Level, including a Global Perspective
Age Limit: 25 years.
Salary: ₹22,000/- per month (Fixed)
Educational Qualification: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Botany / Forestry / Zoology / Chemistry / Agriculture / Life Sciences / Geography.
Desirable: Willingness to work in field conditions.
2. Project Assistant
No. of posts: 01
Name of Project: Preparation of Revised Regional Wildlife Plan, Biodiversity Management Plan, and Carrying Capacity Study for Makum Coalfield in Assam.
Age Limit: 25 years.
Salary: Rs. 22,000 per month (Fixed)
Educational Qualification: First Class Bachelor's Degree in Botany / Forestry / Zoology / Chemistry / Agriculture / Life Sciences / Geography.
Desirable: Willingness to work in field conditions.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST/Women: 5 years.
- OBC: 3 years.

1. Candidates must appear in person for the walk-in interview on 13th August 2026.
2. Report between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM at the ICFRE-Rain Forest Research Institute, Jorhat.
3. Bring a duly filled application form (prescribed format available on the RFRI website) along with self-attested copies of all educational qualifications, experience certificates, and other relevant documents.
4. Bring original certificates for verification.
5. Carry one passport-size photograph.
