Salary: Pay Level 10 (7th CPC): Entry pay of ₹57,700/- per month.

Essential Qualifications:

• Master’s degree with 55% marks in Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Ecology, or Geography.
• Ph.D. (as per UGC regulations) or cleared NET/SLET/SET (exemptions apply for Ph.D. holders).
• For Ph.D. holders: Must meet UGC criteria (e.g., publications, viva voce, research papers).
• Foreign Ph.D. holders: Degree must be from a top 500-ranked university (QS/THE/ARWU).

Desirable Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Natural Resources Management, Climate Change, or Environmental Policy.
• Research focuses on Socio-Ecological Systems, Climate Modelling, Environmental Law, etc.
• Proficiency in statistics, spatial analysis, and a strong publication record.
