Pay Scale of RBI JE Vacancy:
- Starting Basic Pay: ₹47,700 per month (This includes ₹29,000 + nine advance increments).
- Initial Gross Monthly Emoluments (approx): ₹91,309 (Basic + Allowances).
- Pay Scale: ₹29,000 – 1700 (3) – 34,100 – 2040 (4) – 42,260 – 2720 (6) – 58,580 – 2950 (2) – 64,480 – 3370 (3) – 74,590 – 4050 (1) – 78,640.
Age Limit (as on 01.04.2026):
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Born between: 02.04.1996 and 01.04.2006 (both days inclusive).
Age Relaxation (Upper limit):
- SC/ST: 5 years (up to 35 years)
- OBC: 3 years (up to 33 years)
- PwBD: 10 years (GEN/EWS), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
- Ex-Servicemen: Service rendered + 3 years (max 50 years)
- Widows/divorced women (not remarried): Up to 35 years (40 for SC/ST)
Educational Qualification:
For Junior Engineer (Civil):
- Diploma Holders: Minimum 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institute with 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Degree Holders: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
For Junior Engineer (Electrical):
- Diploma Holders: Minimum 3 years Diploma in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 65% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD).
- Degree Holders: B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with 55% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
Experience:
- Junior Engineer (Civil): At least 2 years’ experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of civil construction work and/ or civil maintenance of office buildings/ commercial buildings/ residential complexes with basic knowledge of RCC design and other civil works, working knowledge of computers, experience in preparation of tenders for civil works, etc or a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU.
- Junior Engineer (Electrical): At least 2 years’ experience for Diploma holders or at least 1-year experience for Degree holders in execution and supervision of electrical installations in large buildings/ commercial buildings having HT/ LT substations, central AC plants, lifts, UPS, DG sets, CCTV, Fire alarm system, etc or a 1-year graduate apprenticeship training in a PSU.
