1. Additional Professor

No. of posts: 2

Educational Qualification:

• Medical qualification recognized by the Indian Medical Council.
• Postgraduate degree (MD/MS) in the relevant field.
• Ten years of teaching/research experience post-qualification.

Consolidated monthly pay: Rs. 2,00,000-00

2. Associate Professor

No. of posts: 3

Educational Qualification:

• Medical qualification and postgraduate degree (MD/MS).
• Six years of teaching/research experience.

Consolidated monthly pay: Rs. 1,88,000-00

3. Assistant Professor

No. of posts: 6

Educational Qualification:

• Medical qualification and postgraduate degree (MD/MS).
• Three years of teaching/research experience.
• Specific experience in Paediatric Neurology or Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is preferred for relevant positions.

Consolidated monthly pay: Rs. 1,42,506-00

Other Eligibility Criteria of AIIMS Guwahati Faculty Vacancy 

Maximum Age Limit:

• Professor/ Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 (Fifty-Eight) years as on the last date of the online application.
• Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 (Fifty) years as on the last date of the online application.

Age Relaxation: Permissible relaxations in upper age limit for different categories are as under:

• SC/ ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years 

Application Fee:

Candidates have to pay a certain amount as an application fee depending up on their category. The details are as given below:

• UR/OBC/EWS: Rs 1500/-
• SC/ST/PwBD/ Women: Nil
