1. Trade Apprentice - Attendant Operator (Chemical Plant) Discipline - Chemical (Code 101)

Educational Qualification: 3 years B.Sc (Maths, Physics, Chemistry or Industrial Chemistry)
2. Trade Apprentice (Boiler) Discipline - Mechanical (Code 103)

3. Technician Apprentice Discipline - Chemical (Code 104)

Stipend and Benefits:
- Stipend as prescribed under Apprentices Act 1961/1973 and Corporation guidelines
- Safety shoes and helmet provided for Codes 101, 103, 104, and 107 (returnable)
- Leave: 32 days general leave + 12 days casual leave per year
- Accident insurance coverage
- No HRA or company accommodation provided
Age Limit (as on 28.02.2026):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age for General/EWS: 24 years
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC (NCL) – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years
- Only Matriculation certificate issued by Board of Secondary Education is acceptable as proof of age.
Selection Process:
- No written test. Selection is purely based on merit of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification.
- Preference given to first-time apprenticeship applicants.
- In case of tie, seniority by age decides rank. If same date of birth, higher Matriculation marks prevail.
- Shortlisted candidates called for document verification.
- Final selection subject to medical fitness as per Apprentices Act guidelines.

- Register on NAPS portal: https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
- Establishment ID for Bongaigaon Refinery: E07191800001
✅ For Codes 104 and 107:
- Register on NATS portal: https://nats.education.gov.in
- Establishment ID for Bongaigaon Refinery: EASCHC000001
Step II: Fill Microsoft Forms
- After applying on the respective portal, candidates must also fill the additional Microsoft Form available on the IOCL website www.iocl.com.
Both steps are compulsory. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
