Stipend: The Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/ Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended), and the Corporation’s guidelines.
Period of Apprenticeship Training: 12 to 24 Months

Refineries Locations of IOCL:
Applications are invited by IndianOil for Apprenticeship at its Refineries at Guwahati, Digboi, Bongaigaon (all 3 in Assam), Barauni (Bihar), Vadodara (Gujarat), Haldia (West Bengal), Mathura (UP), Panipat (Haryana) and Paradip (Odisha).
A candidate can apply for an apprenticeship in any one of the Refinery units and in any one of the trades/disciplines of his/her choice.
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years and maximum age shall be 24 years as on 31-05-2025 for General/EWS candidates.
Relaxation of upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates shall be extended as per Govt.. guidelines.
Marksheet/Certificate issued by the Board of Secondary Education for passing Matriculation (Class X) Examination
shall be the only acceptable document in support of age.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- PwBD-OBC (NCL): 13 years
- PwBD-SC/ST: 15 years

How to Apply?
Candidates meeting the above prescribed eligibility criteria should visit our IOCL website www.iocl.com /www.iocrefrecruit.in from 03-05-2025 till 02-06-2025.
Candidates willing to apply must have a valid and active Apprentice Registration/Enrolment Number registered on the NAPS/NATS portal. They must ensure that their profile is 100% correctly updated.
STEP 1:
Candidates are advised to register as a Technician/ Trade Apprentice online in the following portals under the respective State as per their Trades below:
- a) Trade Apprentice – ITI/Data Entry Operator at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
- b) Technician Apprentice – Diploma at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
Candidates have to select the Apprenticeship Opportunities in the top menu. Then select in search column location as per IOCL and select the respective trade. This will prompt to login the site with the basic details. Follow the steps given by the portal and complete the registration.
Candidates are therefore advised to furnish the details in the portal carefully and check the same before final submission.
STEP 2:
After applying against an opportunity in the respective NAPS/NATS Portal, the candidate must MANDATORILY complete their registration/application for apprentice positions in the Indian Oil Refineries Division portal at www.iocrefrecruit.in. An option for exercising the choice of a Refinery unit has been provided in the application menu.
