The State Bank of India (SBI) has released 2 advertisement for the recruitment of 10662 Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) vacancy in clerical cadre in various branches of SBI across the country. Out of these 10662 posts, 9124 posts are under regular/ backlog vacancies and 1538 posts are under special recruitment drive for SC/ ST/ OBC backlog vacancies.

Age Limit:
As of April 1, 2026, candidates must be:
- Minimum age: 20 years (born on or after April 2, 1998)
- Maximum age: 28 years (born on or before April 1, 2006)
Age Relaxation Benefits:
The bank offers age relaxation for various categories:
- OBC Candidates: 3 years relaxation
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years relaxation
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): Up to 15 years based on category
- Ex-Servicemen: Actual service period + 3 years (subject to max 50 years)
- Widows/Divorced Women: 7 years relaxation
- Trained SBI Apprentices: 1-16 years based on category
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification as recognized by the Central Government. The good news? Even final year/semester students can apply provisionally, provided they can produce proof of graduation on or before December 31, 2026.
Language Proficiency: Candidates must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the specified local language of the state/UT they are applying for. Those who have not studied the language in Class 10 or 12 will have to clear a Local Language Proficiency Test after the main examination.

- Left thumb impression (black/blue ink on white paper, 20-50 KB)
- Hand-written declaration (specific text required, 50-100 KB)
