Pay Scale: Candidates declared successful for the post of Scientist-B will be recommended for
appointment in the level 10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100 — 1,77,500) plus
allowances as admissible under the rules/orders of ICFRE.
Educational Qualification:
- Hydrology: M.Sc. in Water-Resources & Environment Management / Hydrology / Soil & Water Conservation OR B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with specialization in Water Resources / Hydrology / Soil & Water Conservation
- Pathology: M.Sc. in Plant Pathology OR M.Sc. in Botany / Forestry / Agriculture / Microbiology with specialization in Plant Pathology / Forest Pathology
- Chemistry: M.Sc. in Chemistry with specialization in Organic Chemistry
- Soil Science: M.Sc. in Soil Science OR M.Sc. in Forestry / Agriculture with Soil Science specialization
- Forest Economics: M.Sc. in Forestry with specialization in Forest Economics
- Botany: M.Sc. in Botany with specialization in Plant Taxonomy
- Forestry: M.Sc. in Forestry
- Forest Ecology & Environment Management: M.Sc. in Ecology / Environment Management / Ecology & Environment OR M.Sc. in Botany / Forestry / Life Science with specialization in Forest Ecology / Environment Management
