Pay Scale: JMGS I, Scale of Pay is Rs. 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920.
Nationality: Indian citizen or specified others (Nepal/Bhutan subjects, Tibetan refugees pre-1962, PIO from listed countries) with eligibility certificate if needed.
Educational Qualification:
Graduation in any discipline from a Govt.-recognized university/equivalent. Must have valid marksheet/degree showing percentage (ignore fractions; e.g., 59.99% = 59%). CGPA/OGPA converted to % as per university norms.
Age Limit:
20-30 years (born between August 2, 1995, and August 1, 2005).
- Relaxations: SC/ST: 5 yrs; OBC (Non-Creamy): 3 yrs; PwBD: 10 yrs; 1984 Riot Victims: 5 yrs; Ex-Servicemen: 5 yrs (with min. 5 yrs service).
- Cumulative for SC/ST/OBC with one other category. Provide certificates.
Selection Process:
- Online Exam: Objective test (October 2025) – 200 marks, 2 hours. Sections: Reasoning (50 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (50), English (50), Professional Knowledge (50). Qualifying marks: 40% overall (35% for reserved). Negative marking: 1/4 per wrong answer.
- Interview: Shortlisted based on exam (ratio 1:5 or as decided). 100 marks; min. 40% (35% reserved) to qualify.
- Final Merit: Exam (80% weightage) + Interview (20%). Tie-breaker: Exam score > Age > Application sequence.
Exam Centers: Major cities (list in notification); no changes allowed. PwD get scribe/compensatory time.
Application Fee (Non-Refundable, Inclusive of GST):
- SC/ST/PwD: Rs. 118 (intimation charges)
- Others (Gen/OBC/EWS): Rs. 1,003
- Pay online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, etc.
