1. Academic Registrar
Number of Posts: 1 (UR)
Pay Scale: Pay Level-14 (₹1,44,200–₹2,18,200) plus admissible allowances.
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- A Master's degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the seven-point scale. The PhD degree shaU be desirable but not an essential qualification,
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12- and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration
- Comparable experience in research establishment and/ or other institutions of higher education.
- 15 years of administrative experience out of which 8 years shall be as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post
2. Controller of Examinations
Number of Posts: 1 (UR)
Pay Scale: ₹1,44,200–₹2,18,200 per month (Pay Level-14) plus applicable allowances.
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- A Masters degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the seven-point scale, and,
- At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in the Academic Level 11 and above or with 8 years of service in the Academic Level 12 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration,

Candidates must submit the prescribed application form with self-attested certificates and online processing fee (₹2,000; ₹1,000 for SC/ST) to the Registrar, Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati.
