1. Constable (Dispatch Rider)
No of Posts: 14 Posts (For Male Candidates Only)
Pay Scale: ₹14,000 - ₹70,000 (Pay Band-2) + ₹5,200/- + Allowances.
2. Constable (Messenger)
No of Posts: 20 Posts (For Male Candidates Only)
Pay Scale: ₹14,000 - ₹70,000 (Pay Band-2) + ₹5,200/- + Allowances.
3. Constable (Handymen)
No of Posts: 3 Posts (For Male Candidates Only)
Pay Scale: ₹14,000 - ₹70,000 (Pay Band-2) + ₹5,200/- + Allowances.
Educational Qualification:
HSLC or equivalent examination passed from a recognized board.
Mandatory Requirement: Valid Driving License for LMV or MMV or HMV.
Age Limit:
Must be between 18 to 25 years. (Born between January 2, 2001, and January 1, 2008).
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST(P)/ST(H): 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- Trained Home Guards (with 3+ years service): Additional 3 years
Age Proof: HSLC/Matriculation Admit Card or Pass Certificate only.
Physical Standards:
Height: 162.5 cm for General/OBC/MOBC/SC | 160 cm for ST(P)/ST(H)
Chest: Minimum 80 cm for General/OBC/MOBC/SC/ST(P) | 78 cm for ST(H) (with 5 cm expansion)
Medical Fitness: Must be in excellent health with good vision (6/6 in one eye, 6/9 in the other).
Selection Process:
The selection process is designed to test your physical ability, driving skill, and general knowledge:
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): 40 Marks (3200m Race & Long Jump for men)
- Medical Examination & Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Driving Test (Skill Test): 10 Marks (Pass marks: 5)
- Written Test: 50 Marks (100 MCQs on Elementary Arithmetic, English, GK, Reasoning, and Assam topics)
- Oral/Viva Voce: 5 Marks
- Additional Weightage: Up to 5 marks for NCC certificates.
Final Selection will be based on the total marks out of 110.
