The District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Sribhumi, Assam has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 03 Information Assistants in the District Emergency Operation Centre (DEOC).

Remuneration: Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly honorarium of ₹16,140 (subject to professional tax deductions).

Age Limit:

Candidates must be between 21 to 43 years as of 1 January 2026.

Educational Qualification:

Educational & Experience Requirements (either of the following):

Graduate with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a call centre handling calls and data management in government, semi-government, or reputed private organisations.

OR

HSSLC (10+2) with at least 5 years of similar call centre experience.

Mandatory Skills:

• Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and internet analytics (minimum 6-month diploma required).
• Fluency in spoken and written Bengali, Assamese, English, and Hindi. Preference will be given to candidates fluent in Bengali.

Selection Process:

• 15 candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility and merit.
• Shortlisted applicants will undergo an Interview and a computer proficiency test.

2. Self-attested copies of all certificates, mark sheets (from HSLC onwards), experience proof
3. Two recent passport-size photographs
