The Regional Drugs Testing Laboratory (RDTL), Guwahati, operating under the Directorate General of Health Services, Government of India, has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of 14 Bench Chemists, DEO, Lab Assistant, and Consultant Vacancies.

1. Consultant Admin / Finance
Number of Posts: 01
Monthly Remuneration: ₹42,000/-
Qualification & Experience Required:
Retired Section Officer or Under Secretary level officer from:
- Central Government
- State Government
- Public Sector Undertaking (PSU)
- Must have experience in Administration and Finance
2. Bench Chemist (Medical Device)
Number of Posts: 05
Monthly Remuneration: ₹35,280/-
Qualification & Experience Required:
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum one year experience in the manufacturing or testing of medical devices
- Preference: Candidates with experience in testing of sterile single-use medical devices or non-sterile medical devices
- Must have sound knowledge of computer operation
3. Bench Chemist (Drugs)
Number of Posts: 05
Monthly Remuneration: ₹35,280/-
Qualification & Experience Required:
- B. Pharmacy with experience OR M.Pharma
- OR Master's Degree in Chemistry OR Master Degree in Microbiology
- Preference: Candidates having experience in testing of drugs
- Must have sound knowledge of computer operations
4. Data Entry Operator
Number of Posts: 01
Monthly Remuneration: ₹24,386/-
Qualification & Experience Required:
- Graduated from a recognized university
- Must have computer knowledge
- Typing Speed: Minimum 40 words per minute (wpm)
5. Laboratory Assistant
Number of Posts: 02
Monthly Remuneration: ₹22,467/-
Qualification & Experience Required:
- Class 12 (Higher Secondary) Passed with experience in an analytical testing laboratory
- OR Degree in Science (B.Sc)
Selection Process:
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their CV and eligibility
- Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview date and venue via email
- All original documents must be brought for verification at the time of interview
