BEML Limited, a leading Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, has released a notification for the recruitment of 362 Operator (Tenure Basis) Vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity for ITI-qualified candidates in the Fitter, Turner, Welder, Machinist, and Electrician trades to join a prestigious PSU.

Number Wise Vacancy:
- ITI – Fitter: 127
- ITI – Turner: 93
- ITI – Electrician: 58
- ITI – Welder: 44
- ITI – Machinist: 40
Educational Qualification:
- First-class (60%) marks in the respective ITI trade under the Craftsmen Training Scheme.
- Must possess a National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT).
- Must have completed an apprenticeship and possess a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) under the respective trade issued by the Directorate General of Training (DGT).
Upper Age Limit:
- General / EWS: 29 Years
- OBC: 32 Years
- SC / ST: 34 Years
Salary & Benefits:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly pay, including:-
- Basic Pay: ₹16,900/- per month
- Dearness Allowance (DA): As applicable under IDA
- HRA: As applicable at the place of posting (if company quarters not provided)
- Medical Expenses Allowance: ₹1,500/- per month
- Annual Increment: 3% on basic pay, subject to satisfactory performance
Additional benefits include Provident Fund, Gratuity, and Bonus as per company rules
Age Relaxation:
- PwBD: 10 Years
- OBC: 03 Years
- SC/ST: 05 Years
Selection Process:
The selection will be based on a computer-based written test, followed by document verification and a pre-employment medical examination.
Written Test: A 2-hour online test will have 100 multiple-choice questions:
- 20 Questions on General Awareness
- 20 Questions on English & Reasoning
- 60 Questions on the concerned discipline
Pass Marks: The pass marks are fixed at 45%, relaxable by 5% for SC/ST/PwD candidates .
No Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for wrong answers
Application Fee:
- General/EWS/OBC: ₹200/- (Non-refundable)
- SC/ST/PwD: Nil (Exempted)
