1. Specialists

No of Posts: 15

Age Limit: Up to 70 years.

Salary: Rs. 85,000/-

Discipline-wise vacancies:

• Medicine: 3
• General Surgery: 3
• Obs & Gynae: 2
• Ophthalmologist: 3
• Radiologist: 2
• Pathologist: 1
• Anesthesia: 1

Educational Qualification & Experience:

• A recognized medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule or Part II-of the third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in subsection (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned Specialty as mentioned Section-A or Section-B of Schedule-VI or equivalent.
• 1½ years experience for Post Graduate degree holder & 2 ½ years for Diploma holder in the concerned specialty after obtaining the Post Graduate Degree/Diploma or equivalent.

2. General Duty Medical Officers (GDMO)

No of Posts: 20

Age Limit: Up to 70 years.

Salary: Rs. 75,000/-

Educational Qualification:

• A recognized medical qualification included in the first or Second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule (other than that licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions stipulated in section (3) of section (13) of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
• Completion of compulsory rotating internship.

How to Apply:

Candidates can attend walk-in interviews from 25th May to 4th June 2026 (Guwahati on 28th May at Frontier HQ, Sashastra Seema Bal, Khanapara) with original and photocopies of required documents, a plain paper application mentioning the post, and five passport-size photographs.
