Post Name: Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS)
Pay Scale: Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400)

Educational Qualification:
✅For Junior Hindi Translator / Junior Translation Officer / Junior Translator:
You must have a Master’s degree from a recognized university in one of the following:
- Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level, OR
- English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level, OR
- Any other subject with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory/elective subject at degree level, OR
- Any other subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject at degree level, OR
- Any other subject with both Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or one as medium and the other as a subject at degree level
- AND a recognized Diploma/Certificate in translation (Hindi to English and vice versa) OR two years of translation experience in Central/State Government or PSU.
✅ For Senior Hindi Translator / Senior Translator:
- Same educational qualifications as above, but you need a recognized Diploma/Certificate in translation OR three years of translation experience in Central/State Government or PSU.
Age Limit (as on August 1, 2026):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Born between: August 2, 1996 and August 1, 2008
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of military service
Application Fee:
- Fee: ₹100
- Exempted categories: Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen (eligible for reservation)
- Payment mode: Online only (BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Debit Card)
How to Apply ?
- Visit the official SSC website: https://ssc.gov.in
- Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new portal (old OTR from ssc.nic.in is not valid).
- Log in and fill the online application form for Combined Hindi Translators Examination, 2026.
- Capture your live photograph using the webcam/mobile module (no pre-existing photo allowed unless using Aadhaar authentication).
- Upload scanned signature (JPEG, 10-20 KB, approx 6cm x 2cm).
- Pay fee (if not exempted) and submit.
- Take a printout for your records.
