Name of Post: Subject Matter Expert (Individual Consultant) – Children’s Climate Risk Assessment (CCRA), Assam
No of Posts: 01
Scale of Pay: ₹50,000 per month (consolidated).
Educational Qualification:
- Advanced degree in Climate Change, Climate Finance, Environmental Sciences, Disaster Risk Management, Public Policy, Development Studies or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in climate risk assessment, climate adaptation, climate finance or resilience planning.
- Strong command of data analysis, with demonstrated ability to generate evidence-based findings from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Proven experience in technical report writing, including research reports, fact sheets, and policy/advocacy briefs.
- Demonstrated experience in capacity-building and delivering training to government counterparts or multi-sector stakeholders.
- Experience working with government departments, development partners, and multi-sector stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Assam’s climate and development context is desirable.
- Proficiency in Assamese language will be an added advantage.
- Excellent writing, facilitation, and communication skills.
