ARCI Recruitment 2026:
The International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 29 Scientist 'B', Officer 'B' (Finance), Technical Assistant 'A', Assistant 'A', Technician 'A', and Driver 'A' posts.
ARCI Vacancy Details:
1. Scientist B (R&D)
No of Posts: 4
Emoluments: Rs. 1,18,110/- per month approximately
Educational Qualification :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in any one of the following, from a recognized University or Institute:
- Materials Engineering/Materials Science & Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/Materials & Metallurgical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years
2. Officer B (Finance & Accounts)
No of Posts: 1
Emoluments: Rs. 1,18,110/- per month approximately
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute with good academic record
Experience:
- Officers working in Central/State Governments/Universities/ Recognized Research Institutions/ Semi-Government, Statutory or Autonomous Organizations;
- Holding analogous posts; or
- with 5 years’ regular service in the posts in level 8/level 7 of the pay matrix OR 8 years’ regular service in the post in level 6 of the pay matrix or equivalent and
- Possessing the educational qualification and experience as above.
Age limit: Not exceeding 56 years
3. Technical Assistant ‘A’
No of Posts: 7
Emoluments: Rs. 73,020/- per month approximately
Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. in Physical Sciences (with Chemistry as one of the subjects) or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute; OR
- Three (3) years’ full time Diploma in Metallurgy/Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent from recognized Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government.
Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years
4. Assistant ‘A’
No of Posts: 6
Emoluments: Rs. 61,240/- per month approximately
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with good academic record, or equivalent
Experience: Three (3) years’ experience in Director’s Office/Secretariat/ Administration & Establishment/ Human Resource Development/Finance & Accounts / Purchase & Inventory/Liaison works in Government Departments/Academic/Scientific Institutions/Autonomous Bodies/Research laboratories and shall have good knowledge in MS Office, e-Office and ERP applications.
Age limit: Not exceeding 28 years
5. Technician ‘A’
No of Posts: 9
Emoluments: Rs. 54,210/- per month approximately
Educational Qualification:
- 10th/SSC pass; plus
- 2 years full-time ITI in Fitter/Turner/Electrician trade from a recognized Board of Technical Education of Central or State Government; and
Experience: Three (3) years’ technical experience in Industry/R&D laboratories.
6. Driver ‘A’
No of Posts: 2
Emoluments: Rs. 39,970/- per month approximately
Educational Qualification:
- Pass in 10th/SSC or equivalent from a recognized Board;
- Possession of a valid driving license to drive light and heavy vehicles;
- Knowledge of motor mechanism (i.e. the candidate should be able to identify and rectify minor defects in vehicles);
- Experience of driving light vehicles for at least three (3) years and heavy vehicles for at least six (6) years; and
- Knowledge to maintain vehicle logbooks, journey records, fuel consumption details and other related documents
Age limit: Not exceeding 27 years
Application Fee:
- For Scientist "B" & Officer "B": ₹600 (General/OBC), ₹400 (SC/EWS/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen).
- For other posts: ₹500 (General/OBC), ₹300 (SC/EWS/PwD/Women/Ex-Servicemen).
