The National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 02 Scientist posts.
NIAB Vacancy Details:
1. Scientist-D
No of Posts: 1
Pay: Pay Level 12 as per 7th CPC
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in any discipline of Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Computational Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Agricultural Sciences, Plant Sciences, or related disciplines. Alternatively, a Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology (Chemical/Biomedical/Pharmaceutical) or an M.D./MDS/MVSc. is also acceptable.
Experience: A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience in a responsible higher position in a research/teaching Institute, University, or industry, with published research of the highest standards.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 40 years for Direct recruitment. Not exceeding 56 years on deputation
(including short-term contract)
2. Scientist-C
No of Posts: 4
Pay Level: 11 as per 7th CPC
Educational Qualification: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in any discipline of Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ Computational Biology/ Pharmaceutical Sciences/Molecular Biology/ Agricultural Sciences/ Plant Sciences / related disciplines; or Ph.D in Engineering or Technology in disciplines like Chemical/Biomedical/ Pharmaceutical engineering or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in any branch of medicine/MDS/MVSc. from a recognised University or Institute or relevant areas of research.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.

- Unreserved/EWS/OBC candidates: ₹1,500
- SC/ST/Women/ESM/PwBD candidates: Nil (Exempted)
