Udalguri College, Udalguri, Assam has released an advertisement for the recruitment of Librarian posts.

Name of Post: Librarian

Scale of Pay: Pay Band of Rs. 14,000/- 70,000/ + Grade Pay of Rs. 6,200/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time.
Educational Qualification:
- The candidate must have a good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade in a point scale) at the Master's degree level in the concerned subject.
- Eligibility credentials such as M.Lib, M.Phil, Ph.D, NET, SLET, Seminar Papers, or Publications must be submitted along with the application. Applications without these documents will not be entertained.
- Educational qualifications and selection procedures will be as per Government Office Memorandum AHE.239/2021/68 dated 24-01-2022.
Age Limit:
- General: Not more than 38 years
- SC/ST/PWD: Relaxation of 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: Relaxation of 3 years
Domicile: The applicant must be a permanent resident of BTC area (as per BTC Notification No. BTC/ECN-4482/43 dated 28-10-2026). Only BTC region candidates are eligible to apply.
Language: Must know the local language.
In-Service Candidates: Must apply through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the concerned authority.

A non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,500 must be paid via Demand Draft drawn in favor of "Principal I/c, Udalguri College, Udalguri." The Demand Draft must be enclosed with the application.
