Indian Space Research Organization – Space Applications Centre (ISRO SAC) has invited applications from eligible and intending candidates to recruit 04 Scientist/Engineer & Medical Officer Vacancies.

1. Scientist/Engineer - 'SC'
Number of Vacancies: 02
Age Limit: (as on 12.04.2026): 28 years
Salary: Rs. 56,100 per month + admissible allowances
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree in Industrial Production, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, Industrial Engineering and Management, Production Engineering, or allied branches.
Minimum Marks Required: Aggregate minimum of 65% marks (average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI of minimum 6.84 on a 10-point scale.
Area of Work: Resource Management, Financial & Personnel Management Functions, Systems Engineering, and Project Management.
Selection Process: Written Test and Interview. The Written Test will be conducted only in Bengaluru.
2. Scientist/Engineer - 'SD'
Number of Vacancies: 01
Age Limit: (as on 12.04.2026): 35 years
Salary: Rs. 67,700 per month + admissible allowances
Educational Qualification: PhD in Thin Films, Material Science, Applied Optics, or Metallurgy.
Minimum Marks Required: B.E./B.Tech: 65% or 6.84 CGPA; B.Sc.: 60% or 6.5 CGPA; M.Tech/M.Sc.: 60% or 6.5 CGPA.
Area of Work: Design and development of optical thin films for space applications ranging from UV to infrared bands.
Selection Process: Applications are to be submitted through the ISRO Live Register Portal for PhD Scholars. Initial screening will be conducted, and shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
3. Medical Officer - 'SC'
Number of Vacancies: 01
Age Limit: (as on 12.04.2026): 35 years
Salary: Rs. 56,100 per month + admissible allowances + Non Practicing Allowance (NPA) @ 20% of Basic Pay
Educational Qualification: MBBS with 2 years of experience. The MBBS qualification must be recognized and registered with the National Medical Commission (formerly Medical Council of India). Candidates must have passed with a minimum of second class.
Experience: Only experience acquired after registration with NMC/State Medical Council will be considered.
Application Fee:
The application process requires a processing fee of ₹750 (initially paid by all candidates) along with a non-refundable fee of ₹250. However, women, SC, ST, PwBD, and ex-servicemen candidates will get a full refund of ₹750, while other candidates who appear in the written test or interview will receive a ₹500 refund. The payment must be made online through the Bharatkosh portal/payment gateway.
