No of Posts in Guwahati: 52 posts (includes Itanagar, Kohima, Agartala, Aizawl, Shillong).
Pay Scale and Salary: Selected candidates will draw a starting basic pay of Rs. 24,250 per month in the scale of Rs. 24,250 - 840 (4) - 27,610 - 980 (3) - 30,550 - 1,200 (3) - 34,150 - 1,620 (2) - 37,390 - 1,990 (4) - 45,350 - 2,700 (2) - 50,750 - 2,800 (1) - 53,550. At present, the initial monthly gross emoluments (without HRA) for Office Attendants will be approximately Rs. 46,029 per month.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have passed 10th Standard (SSC/Matriculation) from a recognized Board of the State or Union Territory that falls under the regional jurisdiction of the recruiting office they are applying to. This is a mandatory requirement, and the qualification should be from a board recognized in that particular state or UT.
Higher Qualification: The candidate should be an undergraduate as of 01/01/2026. Graduates and candidates possessing higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
Language Proficiency: Candidates applying to a recruiting office should be proficient in the language (i.e., know to read, write, speak, and understand the language) of the State/UT falling under that office.
Age Limit:
Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age. This means candidates should be born not earlier than January 2, 2001, and not later than January 1, 2008 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below
- SC/ ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ ST): 15 years
Application Fee:
- GEN/OBC/MOBC: ₹450/- + 18% GST
- SC/ST/PwBD/EXS: ₹50/- + 18% GST
- Staff: NIL
