Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have released Centralised Employment Notification (CEN) No. 02/2026 for the recruitment of Technicians across India. This is a massive opportunity for candidates with ITI, Diploma, or B.Sc./Engineering qualifications to join Indian Railways.

Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Technician Grade-I Signal: B.Sc. in Physics, Electronics, Computer Science, IT, or Instrumentation OR a 3-year Diploma in Engineering OR a full Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech) in relevant core branches.
- Technician Grade-III: Matriculation (Class 10) pass with an ITI certificate (from NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade OR a completed Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA).
Age Limit:
- Technician Grade-I Signal: 18 to 33 years
- Technician Grade-III: 18 to 30 years
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years

Selection Process:
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- Mode: Online
- Total Questions: 100 objective-type questions
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer
- Technician Grade-I: Basic Science & Engineering, Mathematics, Reasoning, General Awareness, and Basic Computer Applications
- Technician Grade-III: General Science, Mathematics, Reasoning, and General Awareness
2. Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates for verification.
3. Medical Examination: Candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards (B-1 for Grade-I, others as per detailed CEN).

1. Visit the Official Portal: Go to https://www.rrbapply.gov.in
2. Register: Create an account with a valid mobile number and email ID.
3. Fill the Application Form: Enter personal details, educational qualifications, category, etc.
4. Upload Documents: Upload scanned photographs, signatures, and required certificates.
5. Pay the Fee: Pay online through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
6. Submit: Review all details and submit the form. Download the confirmation page for future reference.
Important: Each candidate can apply to only one RRB and only one Pay Level. A separate application is required for each Pay Level
