Age Limit:

• Candidates must be born between January 31, 2005, and July 4, 2009 (both dates inclusive).
• The upper age limit for enrolment is 21 years.

Marital Status:

• Only unmarried Indian male and female candidates are eligible.
• Agniveers must undertake not to marry during the four-year engagement period.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must fall into one of two streams:

1. For Science Subjects Stream:

• Passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English with minimum 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
• OR Passed a Three-Year Diploma in Engineering with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
• OR Passed a Two-Year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects Physics and Math, with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.

2. For Other Than Science Subjects Stream:

• Passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent in any stream with 50% aggregate marks and 50% marks in English.
• OR Passed a Two-Year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.

Medical & Physical Standards:

• Height: Male - Min 152.5 cm | Female - Min 152 cm (Relaxation for certain regions).
• Chest: Male - Min 77 cm (expansion 5 cm) | Female - Proportionate.
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
• Vision: Specific refractive error limits apply. LASIK/PRK surgery is not accepted.
• General Health: Candidates must be physically and mentally fit for service.

Note: Pregnancy at any stage will lead to disqualification for female candidates.

Examination Fee:

Examination fee of Rs.550/- plus GST is to be paid by the candidate while registering for the online examination. The payment can be made by using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/ Internet Banking through a payment gateway. The examination fee can also be paid by a Challan payment at any Axis Bank Branch.
