1. Senior Project Associate (Senior PAT)
No of Posts: 1
Name of Project: Genome-Editing for Crop Improvement (GE-Crop)
Age limit: Maximum Age 40 years
Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA
Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D in Life Sciences/Biological Sciences/Plant Biotechnology/Agri. Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Plant Functional Genomics from a recognised Institute/University
- 2 Years of Experience in Research and Development in Industrial and academic institutions, or in science and technology organizations, and scientific activities or services
- Master’s in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Agricultural Biotechnology/Life Sciences
- 3 years’ Experience in research in academic/R&D Institutions/Universities and scientific activities
2. Senior Project Associate (Senior PAT)

Name of Project: Setting up of NRL-NEIST R&D Centre (NRDC) : Development of
Sustainable nanocomposite membrane for CO2 capture from PSA off gas
Age limit: Maximum Age 40 years
Emoluments: Rs. 42,000/- per month + HRA
Educational Qualification:
- Masters/Integrated Masters in Chemical Engineering or Technology
- PhD in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering.
- 2 Years of Experience in Research and Development in Industrial and academic institutions, or in science and technology organizations and scientific activities or services
3. Project Associate-I (PAT-I)

Name of Project: Bioresource conservation and prospection (BioConPro)-Investigating
the indigenous grasses of assam and Meghalaya for biopolymer
potential
Age limit: Maximum Age 35 years
Emoluments: Rs 31,000 per month + HRA for CSIR-UGC NET/GATE qualifiers and Rs. 25,000/- per month + HRA
Educational Qualification: MSc /MTech in Materials Science/Chemical Sciences/Chemistry/Polymer
