CSIR-North East Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat, Assam has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 03 Junior Stenographer, Junior Secretariat Assistant (Stores & Purchase), and Junior Hindi Translator posts.

CSIR NEIST Jorhat Vacancy Details:
1. Junior Stenographer
No of Posts: 2
Pay: Pay Level – 4 (Basic Pay Rs. 25,500 – 81,100/-). As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Educational Qualification: 10+2/XIIth or its equivalent and proficiency in stenography as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.
Age Limit: Up to 27 years.
2. Junior Secretariat Assistant (Stores & Purchase)
No of Posts: 1
Pay: Pay Level –2 (Basic Pay Rs. 19,900 – 63,200/-). As per 7th CPC Pay Matrix
Educational Qualification: 10+2/XIIth or its equivalent and proficiency in computer typing speed and in using a computer as per the prescribed norms fixed by DoPT from time to time.
Age Limit: Up to 28 years.
3. Junior Hindi Translator
No of Posts: 1
Pay: Level-06 (Rs. 35,400-1,12,400)
Educational Qualification:
- Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level;
- Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi or English medium and English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as a medium of examination at the degree level;
- Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects of either or both as the medium of examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at degree level;
- Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years’ experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central or State government offices, including Government of India undertaking.
Age Limit: Up to 30 years.
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deducting military service
- Widowed/divorced women: Up to 35 years
