Assam State AIDS Control Society has recently announced an employment notification for recruiting various positions.

Job Description: Assam State AIDS Control Society (ASACS) has invited applications from eligible & intending candidates for the recruitment of 04 Medical Officers, Pharmacists, and Nurse Vacancies in the Antiretroviral Therapy (ART/ART Plus) Centre and in the Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Centre at S.K.K Civil Hospital, Golaghat and Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Guwahati.

1. Medical Officer

No. of posts: 1

Essential Qualification: MBBS with valid registration from the State Medical Council of Assam/ NMC

Essential Experience: 6 months work experience. Postgraduates from Clinical Discipline will also be considered. Good working knowledge of computers, MS Office.

Age: Not more than 65 years as on 01/04/2023

Remuneration: Rs. 72,000/- per month.

2. Pharmacist

No. of posts: 1

Essential Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institute OR Diploma in Pharmacy. The candidate should be registered in the state pharmacy council.

Essential Experience: 3 years of experience for Diploma holders. Good working knowledge of MS Office

Age: Not more than 60 years as on 01/04/2023

Remuneration: Rs. 21,000/- per month.

3. Nurse

No. of posts: 2

Essential Qualification: BSc Nursing or GNM. Candidate must be registered in the State Nursing Council

Essential Experience: The candidates should be computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office, usage of internet and electronic mail

Age: Not more than 60 years as of 01/04/2023

Remuneration: Rs. 21,000/- per month.

How to Apply for ASACS Recruitment 2023

The applicants should come with all the original testimonials. A standard form of application along with a set of self-attested photocopies of all the original documents and a recent passport-size photograph should be submitted before the interview board.

The walk-in interview (written and/ or viva voce) will be conducted as per NACO's guidelines.

Venue: S.K.K Civil Hospital, Golaghat and Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Guwahati.

• Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to appear in the written test and lor viva voce interview. They should produce proof of photo identity (Passport / Voter Card / Aadhar
• Card / Driving License / PAN Card etc.) to the interview board for appearing in the interview.
• No electronic devices will be allowed inside the examination hall.
