The Directorate of Women & Child Development (WCD) Assam has invited applications from eligible and intending candidates for the appointment of the 33 Statistical Assistant Posts. The post will be filled up against existing vacancies in ICDS Projects.

Name of the Post: Statistical Assistant

No of Posts: 33 UR-17, SC-2, STP-3, ST(H)-2, OBC/MOBC-9 RFW (Reservation for Women)-10, PwD-1

Scale of Pay: Pay Band 2, Rs.14,000-70,000/-, Grade Pay of Rs. 7400/-p.m.

Other Eligibility Criteria of WCD Assam Recruitment

Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 40 years of age as of 01.01.2024. The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:-

SC/ST	5 years
OBC/MOBC	3 years
Ex-servicemen	2 years
PwD	10 years

Educational Qualification: Graduate in Arts, Science & Commerce with Economics/Statistics /Mathematics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Desirable: Diploma in computer application

Application Fee:

• (a) There will be no application fee for all the categories of candidates.
• (b) Candidates are not required to pay the application fee for submission of their online applications.
