Publication Board Assam has recently invited applications from eligible and intending candidates for the recruitment of 02 Accounts Assistant & Driver (in the cadre of Junior Assistant) on a contractual basis.

1. Accounts Assistant
No of Posts: 1
Age Limit: The maximum age is 40 years.
Salary: Rs. 28,500/- per month.
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be commerce graduate having minimum 50% of marks and must have diploma in Computer from Govt. recognised institutions.
Experience: Minimum 02 years working experience in any Govt/Private organization in the field of Accounts. He/She must have knowledge in Tally PRIME and Excel. CA (Inter) will get 20 marks extra.
2. Driver
No of Posts: 1
Age Limit: The maximum age is 40 years.
Salary: Rs. 21,500/- per month.
Educational qualification: The candidate must pass HSLC or equivalent examination from recognised Board and Driving License for driving Light Motor Vehicle issued by the competent authority under the Government of Assam.
Experience: Minimum 05 years’ experience in any Govt/Board/Corporation etc. under the Government of Assam.
Application fee: Rs. 300/- for Accounts Assistant and Rs. 200/- for Driver.

Interested and suitable candidates must send their application through Post/Courier along with self-attested copies of required documents to the Secretary, Publication Board Assam, Bamunimaidam, Guwahati, Assam – 781021. The application must reach the office on or before 27 March 2026, and the envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the Post of ……”.
No application shall be received directly from the office.
