Assam Atal Amrit Abhiyan Society Recruitment:
Atal Amrit Abhiyan Society (AAAS), Assam, under the Medical Education and Research Department, Government of Assam, has released an official advertisement inviting online applications for multiple vacant positions on a purely contractual basis. The society is the implementing agency for Ayushman Bharat – PM-JAY and Ayushman Asom – Mukhya Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, along with other health assurance schemes in Assam.

Atal Amrit Abhiyan Society Vacancy Details 2026:
1. Medical Officer
No of Posts: 6
Place of Duty: State Health Agency (SHA), Assam
Eligibility:
- Medical graduate (MBBS preferred; BDS or BAMS may also apply)
- 5–7 years of work experience in health claims processing/audit
Skills Required: Knowledge of medical protocols, clinical pathways, STGs, hospital functioning, and billing practices.
Salary: ₹50,000 per month (consolidated)
2. SAFO – Medical / State Anti Fraud Officer
No of Posts: 01
Place of Duty: Office of the State Health Agency (SHA), AAAS, Assam
Eligibility:
- MBBS from a recognized university
- Registered with Assam Medical Council / National Medical Commission
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience, including 2–3 years in health insurance claims processing, medical audit, hospital administration, or government health schemes (AB-PMJAY, RSBY, ESIC, CGHS, or private TPA/insurer)
Desirable:
- MD/MS/DNB or PG Diploma in Hospital Administration, Health Management, Public Health, or Forensic Medicine
- Familiarity with PM-JAY Transaction Management System (TMS), BIS module
- Knowledge of Assamese and Assam's district health setup
Salary: ₹1,00,000 per month (consolidated)
3. Claims Executive

Eligibility:
- Post Graduate in Commerce with minimum 50% marks
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a related sector
Salary: ₹40,000 per month (consolidated)

- Full-time MBA from a recognized Institute/University
