Educational Qualification:
✅ Teaching Posts:
- Candidates who have passed the Online Screening Test (OST) will be preferred. All OST score cards are valid for life.
- Non-OST qualified candidates, if selected, must pass OST within two years of appointment with a minimum 50% score.
- CTET/TET is mandatory for TGT/PRT appointments in Fixed Term category.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks are required in Graduation/Post Graduation.
- A Post-Graduate with less than 50% in Graduation can apply for TGT/PRT if they have 50% or more in Post-Graduation.
✅ Detailed Subject-wise Requirements (Refer to Appendix C):
- PGTs: Require a Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject with 50% marks, plus an integrated B.Ed./M.Ed. or equivalent.
- TGTs: Require a Bachelor's degree with 50% marks in the specific subject combination (e.g., Science: Any two of Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics) along with B.Ed. and CTET/TET.
- PRTs: Require Graduation with D.El.Ed or B.Ed.
✅ Non-Teaching:
- Librarian: B.Lib. Science or Graduate with Diploma in Library Science + 3 years experience.
- Nursing Assistant: Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing with valid registration.
Age & Experience Criteria (as on 1st April 2026):
✅ For Army Spouses:
- Below 40 years: No minimum experience required.
- Between 40-57 years: Minimum 5 years of relevant teaching experience (cumulative).
- Experience Weightage: Additional points in interview selection based on years of experience.
✅ For Others (General Candidates):
- Below 40 years: No minimum experience required.
- Between 40-55 years: 5 years of relevant teaching experience in the last ten years.
Note: Experience must be in the appropriate category (PGT/TGT/PRT as applicable).

₹250 (non-refundable) via Demand Draft in favor of "Army Public School Basistha" payable at Guwahati.
