Vacancy details:
- SSC(Tech)-67 Men: 350 posts
- SSC(Tech)-67 Women: 29 posts
Nationality: Indian citizens (or eligible candidates from Nepal and specified East African countries with a proper eligibility certificate)
Marital Status: Unmarried
Age Limit:
- Men & Women: Born between 01 October 1999 and 30/31 September 2006 (i.e., 20–27 years as of 01 Oct 2026)
- Widows of Defence Personnel: Up to 35 years (special category)
Educational Qualification:
- Must have a BE/B.Tech degree in notified engineering streams (e.g., Civil, Mechanical, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, etc.) from an AICTE/UGC-recognized Indian institution
- Final-year students may apply only if their final semester results are declared by 01 October 2026
Pay & Benefits:
- Stipend during training: ₹56,100 per month
- On commissioning: Approx. ₹17–18 LPA CTC (including allowances)
- Rank after training: Lieutenant
Selection Process:
- Online Application
- Shortlisting based on academic marks (cut-off % published in March 2026)
- SSB Interview (5-day process in April–June 2026)
- Medical Examination
- Merit List & Joining Letter
Physical Standards (Examples):
- Men: 2.4 km run in 10 min 30 sec, 40 push-ups, 6 pull-ups
- Women: 2.4 km run in 13 min, 15 push-ups, 2 pull-ups
- Basic swimming knowledge required for both
